House Warming

today is the big day for our family, house warming! early morning we got up around 715am to settle some stuff and have our breakfast. by the time we started to get ready for the house warming, it was already 10am! at this timing, baby’s parents already reached. as her mom helped out to bathe the small girl, i settled the fire for the ceremony. halfway through settling the fire, baby’s dad helped out to setup the fire. then i settle some other stuffs. food was already here around 1015am. oh ya, we ordered from four seasons, the caterer which we ordered for our wedding too.

we started the fire crossing ceremony at around 12pm even though the fire cannot start up much. but nonetheless, we still perform the ceremony with those ppl who already arrived at 11+am. after the ceremony, we started the buffet! the house warming ceremony officially starts from 11am to 2pm. there were some 35 ppl who turned up for the ceremony, as compared to the 42 confirmed. but still ok la, the food not really a lot, cos we ordered 50 for 42.

at around 2pm, most of the guests were already gone, left with dengli’s group. then we started packing the food and found out that there is really a lot left! so we had to ta bao the food, haha. but using our own taperwares cos there were none supplied by the caterer… oh well… in the end still had to buy extra taperwares.

btw, the food we ordered were:

fried rice, snowy cream puff, assorted sandwiches, mini chocolate eclair, mixed fruit tartlet, mini swiss roll, mini durian puff, seafood rollups, breaded crab claws, fish finger with cheese, chicken sausage with bbq sauce, lobster pearl ball, steamed chicken siew mai, steamed shrimp har gao and fresh fruit platter.

finally, we are offically moved in!
