also managed to catch 1/4 of this movie on the plane b4 we landed. so i watched it at home on dvd version. hmmm, quite an interesting story talking about the liberation of iraq. US army is taking advantage of the ‘false’ alarm of weapon of mass destruction in iraq and forces the iraqi to take on a new leader which is lead by an american born iraqi. but the whole thing faltered and again, i believe iraqi did hired a true iraqi leader to lead the country. the storyline was gd, i give it a 3.5/5 rating.

Iron Man 2
finally got to watch this movie on the plane. didnt get to watch it in cinema cos a lot of ppl says that the storyline not strong enugh. truly enugh, i watched already and found the storyline wasn’t strong enugh too. iron man part 2 isnt that much different from the 1st one, except that there is a new form of energy that helped him to survive. in the end, the baddy wasnt even strong enugh for him… –.-‘’’ pathetic baddy… gave it a 3/5 rating.
Hong Kong Trip Day 5
the 5th day le! time really flies! oh dear, its time to go bck to sg 2nite… sianz… but still we r determined to go somewhere despite being the last day. we didnt actually plan for much today as our scheduled already was changed while on our trip here. so today’s schedule was planned in hk. :)
McDonalds |
we decided not to have anymore dim sum as we already had for 2 days. we decided to go n try out their mcdonalds breakfast as they gt something special that sg dun hv. that is maccoroni set. also their burgers have pork de. guess there not many muslims in hk. see wad we hav ordered below! |
In’s Point |
While we had lots of time still left b4 we leave hk, we decided to get a glimpse of in’s point. it is located at yau ma tei. just right above the mtr station. it is a shopping mall, dat sells mostly on toys, ranging frm gundam to lego to even models. but then sadly, most of the shops only open after 4pm. we did manage to stay ard there until 330pm b4 we headed bck to hotel to wait for the pickup to the airport. the lego there some are quite cheap, some are exp. i saw some really cheap ones, dunno issit they were gg to sell it off cos nobody buys or wad, lol… but the nx time i go, i might wan to go there again during one of the days. |
许留山 |
our last day of the famous dessert in hk. so we ordered more than we actually had for the past few days. the wednesday set, gui lin gao, durian pudding and fried carrot cake. their fried carrot cake a bit spicy de, so those who cant take spicy, dun order, lol… the durian pudding quite nice. |
Airplane |
Our last record b4 we touch down in singapore would be the plane itself. actually nth much to update on the plane, just that i watched iron man 2 n half of green zone while baby also watched iron man 2. then we also had our dinner on the plane. Some photos taken on the plane. :) |

New Star Restaurant |
we went down to new star restaurant at mong kok instead of gg down to causeway bay cos the one at causeway bay further, obvious. ok, we reached there ard 9+ n the place was already v packed. no wonder ppl say muz go early, lol… in fact, the morning session dim sum is so much way cheaper than the afternoon and dinner. morning session most of the dim sum are hkd$8.80, afternoon is hkd$12.80 and nite is hkd$18.80. look at wad i hv eaten! |
Macau |
as we couldnt buy the crispy pork from the shop above, we decided to head for macau! as we were told only macau’s branch has those crispy pork on sale! journey to macau by boat! the tickets were quite exp lor… costing us a total of hkd$530… could hv saved the money for something else, but we wanted to buy the crispy pork, so oh well! who cares! lol… oh ya, we realised the tickets bck after 5pm is more expensive by a lot more. no wonder they hv a round trip package which costs so much less. |
Elements Shopping Centre |
our last stop for the day, elements shopping centre. easily taken in by the name, but yes. it consists of 5 different element sections, but once again, we only managed to take 4… as the last one gt ppl standing there… wanted to take it at next level, but oh well, we didnt go to that section… |
of course i didnt go there just to take these photos, i took some other photos too. there isn’t much that we could buy over there as almost all are quite high cost departmental stores. like gucci, prada, lv, etc… below photos taken r frm a story which i didnt managed to get hold of. |

west hotel |
woke up ard 8am. then prepared for our journey towards the 1st destination, to have our breakfast! but then so sad, early in the morning, something happened. one of the 4 little girls were playing at the lobby. then happen so 1 little girl was climbing into the side of the sliding door. we 2 were just awake and didnt realised she was there. when we walked towards the sensored door, it slid open and we heard a cry. we saw the little girl’s right hand n leg stuck in between the sliding door and the glass panel. luckily after attempts to ‘save’ her from her pain, she was ok. phew… nonetheless, we continued to the 1st destination. |
Modern Toilet | |
after the tour at citygate warehouse, we proceeded to mong kok for our evening tour. we went down to modern toilet, hoping to hv our dinner there. but then we didnt see any food to our liking, so in the end we changed place for dinner. but still we took some photos of the place. quite nicely done, but food to us, not so gd. |
Langham Palace |
this was our next stop, actually we didnt come here as part of our tour de, but then we still came cos got the 12 horoscopes. but after taking the photos, we realised cancer wasnt inside. wondered where it went to… |
after taking the photos, we also went down to muji to shop. it is situated at langham palace too. bought 2 packet tidbits. |
Mong Kok |
we finished our tour at langham palace and started our final destination for the day at 3 streets. fu yuen street, ladies street and electronics street. went also to the ho king shopping centre to see what is in there, nth but cigarette smoke! sad… they do sell games and some porn stuff, haha… saw nothing that we could buy, so instead we had our desserts for the nite. same place, 许留山. |

Hong Kong Trip Day 2
morning! woke up at ard 730am to prepare for our next trip. had our 1st dim sum breakfast opposite our hotel, named 顺德公鱼村. it is a seafood dim sum restaurant. we didnt order much as we were supposed to go to causeway bay for our brunch. we ordered shao
mai, xia jiao and chao shao bao. light breakfast ya… after which we headed bck to hotel to wait for our tour guide. oh ya, wad happened was, we didnt want to join any half day tour de, cos we gt our itinerary to follow ma. but then this guy peter, psychoed us to join them as they were gg to causeway bay too. so we joined them. who knows, we were told dat we will be heading to victoria peak first, then to fishing village and then to a jewellery shop. the end of the whole trip was at causeway bay… which is actually ard 12pm already… wasted our morning… but we still bought a souvenir frm ‘disney land’! see see! some photos taken during the half day city tour…

after the half day city tour, we alighted at causeway bay. we wanted to look for new star to have our lunch, but then, the food will only be cheap if eaten b4 1130am, so we decided to go elsewhere to hav our lunch. went to times square first as it is our first destination. checked out their food forum and found out most of the restaurants are quite exp and also dun look nice. so we looked ard the outskirts of times square and found this small coffee stall named 何洪记. we went in n the whole place was packed! ok la, its small but then still a lot of ppl de lor. seems
like we didnt come to the wrong place. so we ordered a bowl of porridge and a bowl of wanton noodle. wah its v the nice de lor… didnt order much cos we wan to save our stomach for other food later on. if u wan to know where is this place, the address is to the left. after the lunch, we toured ard times square. nth much in times square though. so we proceeded to the lee gardens. at first we went to the wrong place, we walked into the office sectio
n of the lee gardens. super the blur, dun even know where is the place, lol… finally found the route to the shopping mall. bought some niu niu’s socks at king kow. its quite cute, the place itself is also v cute. see the socks to the right. cute hor! lol… after walking a while more at the lee gardens, we proceeded to jardine’s street. there actually nt v big la, but sell a lot of kid stuff. quite cheap n quite gd quality (just by touching la, if use liao dunno gd or not, lol…) we bought quite a lot of stuff over there. take a look below.
jardine’s street small small only, so a while finish walking liao. we walked to sugar street, supposingly to see something there, but went there to see nth… :\ well… 4gt liao, lol… ‘shopped’ at sogo for baby’s bags, but didnt see any, so we left after a while. nx stop is at wan chai. yes, we walked all the way frm causeway bay to wan chai! its like walking from orchard ion plaza all the way to suntec lor… it is dat far! along the way we couldn’t take it, so we took a rest at 许留山 to hav our desserts as well. wah the dessert here is v the nice de lor. their desserts are based mainly on mango. see wad we ate above! its superbly delicious! the delicious desserts we ate overwritten our sore legs! lol… when we reached wan chai, our main motive is tai yuen street. bought some of niu niu’s stuff again, lol…
after finishing our tour at tai yuen street, baby decided dat she needs more rest b4 the next walking session. so we took the mtr to central, lol… actually wanted walk there, but a bit too far liao. :P upon reaching central mtr station, baby bought some stuff frm aji ichiban, some roasted pork and beef as well as her fav chestnuts. we went up to ifc mall and decided to have our tea break there, or rather our dinner. mcdonalds! lol… was just trying to see hw their fast food taste like. :P nt v exp, at least a few cents cheaper. act we couldnt find anything else to eat, so ate mcdonalds. :P after dat we took ferry bck to tsim sha tsui. went to sogo to buy baby’s bags. onli managed to buy 1 for her mom as the one she eyed, was nt on discount. so a bit sad for her… but nt too bad la, she still gotten her liken shoes from fila tonite, haha… see see, below are the things she bought at sogo and fila.

Hong Kong Trip Day 1
woke up at 5am early in the morning, to make a last min check and preparation to go off to the airport for the hong kong trip. v excited, nt tired at all when waking up at 5am, haha… we finished preparation by 545am and went to take the bus. reached changi airport at ard 640am. checked in already then went to hv our breakfast at the coffee bean. baby has been longing to hv the breakfast again ever since she ate it long time ago bck when she had it near my house, haha… there, the breakfast dat we ordered at coffee bean. after the breakfast, we headed down to our boarding
area, which was at gate D42. boarded the plane at 8am and began the journey in the air for 3hr 45mins. i watched kick-ass on the plane while baby watched the shrek 4. i really did watch kick-ass on the plane, look at the picture if u dun believe, lol… more pictures on the meal we took during the flight. actually, we were quite full as our breakfast were taken quite near to the timing of the meal we were taking in the plane. nonetheless, let u see
wad we had for the breakfast on the plane. quite sad to say, i didnt take the photo on my share wif the cover opened… :( v sad… but mine was a seafood porridge set while baby’s one was a omelette sausage set. their food were quite nice, i managed to finished them even though i was quite full. at ard 12pm, we reached hong kong international airport. we searched for the place to take the shuttle service to our hotel. within mins, we were on our way to the hotel. as the journey was quite long and i was a bit tired, i took a short nap. close to abt 30mins later, we reached our hotel. we checked in and packed our stuff before leaving to start our exploration. below are some of the photos taken of the hotel room we were staying.
our room 1905! | this is our sleeping area. |
the toilet view from the outside. | the basin in the toilet. |
so we set off right after settling dwn. the time shld be ard 230pm already~ n so our 1st stop is sogo! but then happened dat, we passed by parklane shopping bvld along the way. (didnt managed to take any photo of it though) baby took a liking into one of a pair of shoes from fila, which is at a discounted price of HKD$250. of course she didnt buy, cos she was tinking there might be better and cheaper shoes at other department stalls. n so we continued our shopping spree at sogo. actually sogo was quite small, onli wif 2 levels. 1 is mostly on bags, clothes, etc… the other one is more on food, but as well as also selling clothes. then baby once again, took a liking to one of the handbags of this brand LeSportSac. the bag was quite nice actually, but its HKD$378. so baby once again wanted to tink b4 buying. then we continued walking to avenue of stars, in which i tot was a great place. who knows i onli see a few statues and some special sign off by 明星 at the tiles on the floor. a bit disappointed but still took some pictures of the place.
after avenue of stars, we continued our exploration towards harbor city. bought a soft ice-cream along the way. the ice-cream was really soft! harbor city was so big lor, cos about 4 shopping centres were linked to harbor city by inner pathways, or wad u call it, linkways. managed to see a v interesting luggage shop wif a few disney characters printed luggage bags. baby wanted to buy the snoopy one, cos it was so cute de lor. but like the previous items mentioned above, she decided to kiv once again. we exited harbor city at ard 7pm and headed to peking road. we were searching for this famous stall called koi kei (钜记). bought quite a lot of stuff frm there, all of them are edible foods of course. headed bck to hotel to unpack n then to temple street for our dinner! we went to have 保仔饭 along the street. recommended online by many ppl cos its quite cheap. we ordered the 排骨饭 and 菜心. wah the 菜心 was crazy… so big n so hard to eat… –.–‘’’ baby had a swollen gum, so didnt eat much of the veg. in the end i oso couldnt take it myself… look at it urself, lol… after the dinner, we headed back to the hotel. but! something funny happened! baby realised part of the bottom of her shoes came off! it dropped out at the place where we sat dwn for 保仔饭. lol… so baby had no choice but to buy the shoes at fila. however, this is another day’s ‘job’ as it was v late already. lastly we saw some sex toy stalls by the road side… sold by uncles, aunties and incredibly… ah ma… oh dear…
