Taiwan 3rd Day

2day we woke up at 9+am, a bit later than the previous day, lol... slp until very shiok sia, haha. okok, 2day we went to chiang kai sheng memorial hall to take a look. the building was very big. but very far from the mrt station! we had to walk quite a distance before reaching the memorial hall itself. the place was quite grand and we also bought some sourveniors over there which amounted to NT$2000... we went down to taipei city hall to take a look at their Xinyi District. this is their so called 'CBD' area in taipei. we visited their Shinkong Mitsukoshi Departmental Store and eslite Bookstore. the Mitsukoshi Departmental Store is almost the same as our taka, only that it is bigger and has 3 different buildings over there. as for the eslite Bookstore, i can say its even bigger than Borders in Singapore and has a lot more variety of books. i personally bought 3 san guo books will my gal gal bought some labi xiaoxin comics and some female books. the total cost was roughly around NT$2000, haha... wad a shopping spree. i had wanted to buy more, but too bad, its going to be too heavy and cost me a bomb. :D

anyway we didnt manage to go taipei 101 cos of the time, by the time we finish shopping at eslite Bookstore, it was already 4+pm. so we rush down to Huaxi Night Market, at Longshan Temple Station. we went to Longshan Temple to do some praying and bought some amulets over there. as for the night market, it was a disappointment. nothing much over there, except stalls selling traditional stuffs for temples and the old. so we ate their 'tie ban' at one of the stalls at Huaxi Night Market. the food was not too bad, quite nice. :) after this dinner, we managed to see police come and chase those illegal stores away, lol... at around 8+pm, we still went over to Gongguan Night Market at Gongguan Station. the place was quite big actually, but cos by the time we walked from one end to the other, it was quite late le. we set off back to the hotel and shopped a bit at Ximen for our sourveniors and some misc items. nevertheless, we bought NT$5000 worth of sourveniors! and my gal gal herself bought two watches. oh my, NT$5k! below are some pictures taken.
