Xiao Niu Getting Better

yes, xiao niu finally getting better. after a trip to the doc today, she was diagnosed with stomach flu. she has been given medicine to drink before her meals. doc says dat she still has jaundice, so has to keep sun tanning for another 2 weeks at least. but nonetheless, at least we know wad is happening to her, so now we can be at ease that she should be recovering. she was blessed… :)

Xiao Niu is Sick?

xiao niu could have fallen sick, we dont know. as far as we know of her condition, she has vomitted milk for 4 times on sunday afternoon, tues nite and today morning twice. so in the end, we had no choice but to send her for checkup at baby’s GP. we dun even know wad happened to her as she looks fine to us every time after having her meals. and she sleeps quite well after her meals too. only when she wakes up and gets rdy to have her next meal, then she vomits. i have only known it for sunday and tuesday ones, as for this morning vomitting, i am not very sure whether it is before her meal. but hopefully the GP will diagnose properly and give proper treatment. let’s help to pray for her healthy return…

Interesting Facts About Xiao Niu (2)

her meals are quite normal, and interestingly, she has a special type of information for us before her meals. After she wakes up from her sleep, she will ‘biow’ around to see see the surrounding and make a few interval noises. then we will be waken up by her little noises. then either one of us  will proceed to test her by touching her lips and see her reaction. if she tries to lick the finger, that means she wants to drink milk. however, there is a certain deadline like 5mins before she starts to cry for the milk. so within this timing, i will make the milk and then either one of us will feed her. then if she finish the milk already, we proceed to plan (a), if not, we proceed to plan (b). either one of the plan we will make her burp.

Plan (a)
after burping, if she is still slightly awake, we could assume that she would fall aslp in a few mins and we will put her on the bed to do whatever she wants to do. (basically she will stretch here n there, stare here n there and then finally fall aslp) if she still awake after more than 5-10mins, then there is a problem. we shall then proceed to plan (c).

Plan (b)
if she did not finish the milk and we finish burping, its either she is full or she is doing BIG business… oh well, big business means we have to proceed to plan (c), else will be plan (d).

Plan (c)

ok, we will try to keep her still while checking out her pampers to see whether there is any poo poo or not. if yes, then we will help her to clean up and change the pampers. if not, then we will proceed to plan (e).

Plan (d)
if she is full and no matter how we try to incite her to drink, then it means she is FULL. so we will let her rest on the bed until either she falls aslp or else she does her BIG business… oh well, if so, it means plan (c) again~

Plan (e)
according to ‘internal reports’, if she sleeps after changing of pampers, then we sleep. no disturbance and the next feeding time will be ard 3-4 hours. if she doesnt go to slp and is still wide awake after the change, then we will proceed to plan (f)…

Plan (f)
this shall be the final plan we have… to feed her again with the left over milk… ok sorry, this is not the final plan :P if she doesnt want the milk, it is either she is full and is just playing mischief by staying awake or else it means she wants warm milk… plan (g)!

Plan (g)
very simple, i help to make another bottle of warm milk for her loh.. after this drinking, she is supposed to be slping liao. and if she slps, it will be ard 3-4 hours later before she have her next meal…

Interesting Facts About Xiao Niu (1)

1.	Her english name is called carabelle.
2.	Her chinese name is called liu zi xuan 刘梓萱.
3.	Her birthday is on the 1st Feb 2010. (we welcome presents for her on this day every year :P)
4.	She is of the same horoscope as me, aquarius!
5.	Hmmm, her meals are quite regular la, although only so far experienced once that we went out, her meal was quite irregular at that time for 4hours.
6.	She needs to get sun tan everyday cos she got geondis… hopefully she gets better after getting tanned :x
7.	Seen and heard from baby that she needs to hear and see me before she can go to sleep after her meals… oh dear… nx time i work how?… :\
8.	She likes bathing a lot! (according to my mother in law, haha…)

The Dark Knight

finally i get to watch this movie on dvd. i watched this movie in the middle of the nite when taking the shift to look after xiao niu. the storyline was quite good, the actions were gd also. the only pity thing about this movie is the ending, i have no idea wad batman said in the end and then run away. :\ but after watching tis movie, i know why the joker deserved his praise, lol… he really acted very well and ‘bad’. rating 4/5 for the movie.

Back Home!

we finally came back home after a 4 day 3 nite stay at thomson medical hotel~~ well, we were actually growing accustomed to the hotel room after the 1st day, too bad we had to leave after 4 days. :P today is also the 1st day xiao niu stepped into her new home! ok, baby’s parent’s house :x baby and me thks all for coming to visit us and giving us so much support. thanks all i love all of u!
