Wooo, time to start our trip for a new day! today very simple, morning we had our breakfast at the coffee cafe in Baiyoke Boutique Hotel. (free one ma, so go eat lor, lol…) the food were quite nice, considering it is the first proper breakfast we have taken since the 1st day. below are the pictures taken during the breakfast. we even took some other pictures in the coffee cafe too.
okok, less talk on the breakfast. time to head out for platinum mall. too early we got there, most likely ard 930am. most of the shops werent open, but nonetheless we still walked ard to see the whole mall. i noticed that the shops are quite small and it is really every inch of the mall is taken up. i nv see any wasted space at all, nt to mention the corridor loh. then we came by this luggage shop where baby aimed tio 1 of the luggage, pinky samsonite. we bargained wif the uncle saying 3000 baht very exp, can cheaper or not. he say okok, morning price 2600 baht, lol… then we okok buy. haha… like dat oso can… morning price… we also managed to change some money at the mall, below are some pictures taken at the mall.
after which we went back to hotel to put our luggage (ug n jj oso bought 1), then proceeded to chatuchak market via the same taxi. when we reached there ard 11am in the morning, the place was already packed wif ppl lo. no wonder this place is called the shopping heaven, haha… i guess this place is oso one of the places of interest in thailand. btw, this place is really super the big lor, we walk walk walk walk for hrs n hrs n still cannot finish. we cant even reach the exact spot on where we went in from… we bought lots of things over there in total, full 260 items of wedding gifts for us and ug they all also bought ard 50 items. we had our delicious coconut ice cream with coconut drink, mango rice and cotton candy. (these were our lunch in fact, lol) too much to see and too much to walk, all the more, too much to buy, haha… below are some pictures taken!
after a 4hr walk at chatuchak, we went back to have a rest. until ard 7pm then we proceeded to the baiyoke sky restaurant for our dinner. it was a buffet restaurant and it is really big lor! i walk 1 round to get my drinks onli lor… we had our sumptous meal in the restaurant and the food were nt too bad. the best thing about this restaurant is dat we are able to see almost the whole of bangkok from that level. one look outside the restaurant makes u tink dat there are no other taller buildings around. really the feeling is like, “wow, nv seen something so tall n can still see the ‘whole world’!”. lol… below are the pictures taken in the restaurant…
after all these fun in the morning n evening, we went for a short break at the road stalls. walk walk walk, we saw one stall selling towels, their towels were very class, quite nice in design. cheap cheap onli, 1 face towel, 1 hand towel and 1 bath towel cost u 200 baht, which is ard S$8 to S$9! dats cheap rite! see see below for the classic towel designs!
after queuing and checking in, we proceed to the departure hall to do some window shopping. then baby was wanting to buy one of the moisturizing cream, but would onli do so when we come back from thailand. so walk walk here, walk walk there, time to board. we took the flight at 710am n reached bangkok 2hrs later, bangkok timing 805am. dats fast, after a short nap, we reached liao. below are some pictures again from suvarnabhumi airport.
happily eat n eat, pay n pay, never even check whether gt count wrongly, lol… at the end of the day, we paid for an extra cup of coffee.
