Kindermusik Lesson 2 - Milk and Cookies

zi xuan began her 2nd class for this term. today happened to have 2 more kids joining the class! finally i see something from the class. :) all along i tot only 3 of them, haha… today zi xuan allowed teacher shauna to hold her hands to walk, but she walked sideways throughout the whole of that particular section of the dance/song and almost fell at the end, lol… nothing in particular for today’s lesson, just that when it was time to get their stamps, she stood there for her turn to come. when she see other kids pull up their shirts, she also followed. when they gotten stamps on their legs, she pulled up her pants, lol…

Standard Chartered Half Marathon

our very first crazy run after we knew one another for almost close to 2 years, haha… never train still go and run 21km… madness. but! we managed to complete the run in 4hrs! joseph even completed in 3hrs 30mins! oh ya, 4got to tell u who went together, me, sheng xian, yuen loong, alvin ng and joseph. :)

i was almost late that day when sheng xian called me at 6am to ask me where am i, lol… i still sleeping sia… i woke up startled that it is almost 6am le, cfm late. so no choice had to drive down. then reach there at 630am, juz in time for the run. only to know from joseph that we can actually cross the line before 7am… -.-!!! then we took our time until 645am when we started walking towards the start line. only to hear from the cheerleaders that we have to rush to the start line, so we all started to jog straight to the start line! also very far de lor… after started jogging for a while, the announcement made was that we could take our time to run past the start line… -.-!!! stupid…

anyway, we started the run without even doing any warm-up sia… dats the craziest part… for a 21km, we never even do warm up… so for the next 5-6km, we started to ache at the legs liao. run until cannot run, then we walked the rest of the journey, waahaha… only joseph run on his own…

so by the time we reach the end, it was almost 11am! as estimated by yuen loong of 4hrs to complete, haha.. we sure are crazy ppl going for 21km without training. :P

Kindermusik Lesson 1 - Milk and Cookies

1st lesson taken at a different place, at teacher shauna’s house! fortunately, it is also near my parents’ house, haha… but very little ppl loh, really is very little ppl. when i first went in n saw 1 kid playing, i tot there were going to be more of them joining. but until teacher shauna started the class, there were only 3… oh well, nvm, better concentration for the teacher for 1 to 3. :D (although i doubt so as the kids were running about, lol…) her house is renovated in such a way that the whole living room was taken up for the class. there is another room just for musical instruments, including pianos, etc. overall the environment does not lose to the one at tanglin mall, just that the number of students very little… don’t know is it becos of lunch time…

ST Games Day

everyone from info soft was so happy today cos we could go straight to east coast park from our homes without going to office first. this was the instructions given by su po! xD guess wad time we were supposed to reach east coast? 12pm! hehe!! once in a while we could wake up so late during wkdays without leaves, haha…

alwin and ssx came to my house to meet up wif me and go down together. when we reached there at 12pm, there weren’t many ppl. then we observed in my car those ppl walking to and fro the tentage for ST. Until yuen loong and zach asked us where we are and we told them we were in the car. then they asked us why hide in the car, haha… then we met up wif them in the tentage shortly after the call.

when it was lunch time, we could see lots of ppl already rushing to queue at the buffet corner. this turned my group of colleagues off and we all decided to go to mac to have our lunch, lol… oh ya, our group contains me, sheng xian, yuen loong, zach, alvin wong and alwin. just after we finished our lunch, jasmine called to tell us that the games are about to start, so we rushed back.

when we reached the tentage, we split up into our groups as defined before we came for the games day. my group leader is sen yen. which i actually couldn’t recall who she was when my colleagues told me who she is until i see her personally, haha… for the 1st game, it was us vs alvin wong’s group. the first game was gladiator. u know those games that take the pole n try to hit each other dwn frm the stand? yeah, dats the one. for the previous 7 ppl, it took them very quickly for the result to be out, but took me and alvin about 5mins to have a result. and it was alvin who played dirty! booo!!! wahahaha… in the end they won 5-3. :x

for the 2nd game, it was “who jump onto the mushroom first, wins”. n so it took us very quickly to win by 4-3, haha… a bit weird loh, lol… lucky the 1st 2 games weren’t very important as they were not taken into account whether we go into the next round. :)

only the 3rd game, where the 2 teams vs each other in a knock out battlefield. both teams are equipped with a ‘weapon’ and a ‘helmet’. each personnel in each team are to hit the opponents. anyone who is hit, will be announced ‘dead’ by the judge. n so the battle started and we had a hard fought battle for the 1st 3 rounds. we won by 2-1. and for the next knock out stage, we easily overcome the next team by 2-0. until the semi finals, where the opponent has a professional to help them. booo~~ obviously we lost by 0-2, eeeee~~~ smelly. :P but at the end of the day, we still took no. 3 because of our team leader, sen yen, haha… she could be said the woman of the match for the day! :D

n so we gotten the 3rd prize! :D oh, btw, for the lucky draw, my team gotten at least 4 prizes! even me also, i gotten the 1st prize! haha… all thanks to the person before me, as she wasn’t here, she was not entitled to the prize and so they repick. n it was me! :D

Kindermusik Lesson 11 - Wiggles Giggles

today is the last lesson for carabelle at kindermusik, the next term will be on the waiting list. today also forgot to bring camera as before the class, we were all outside for jolene’s rom. after jolene’s rom, we went to forum the shopping mall to walk and thus was rushing to the class, 4getting the camera. nvm, there is always another time. :) the class went on as normal and she was having a great time, just that when it was time to mingle around, she again chose to ask me to carry her, lol… today was a bit special for her, cos the drum that she was using, was too big. so i suggested to ask her to roll it to teacher shauna instead. as teacher shauna saw this, she also encouraged carabelle to roll it, but carabelle roll it halfway and stopped, lol… oh well… lazy girl. :P at the end of the class, she gotten her 2nd certificate of passing the class. congratulations carabelle! the next time will most likely be at teacher shauna’s house for class!

Kindermusik Lesson 10 - Wiggles Giggles

the last 2nd lesson for this theme. also might be the last 2nd lesson where carabelle will see teacher shauna le. today carabelle was aslp during the journey to class, so she was a bit more tired during the class. but after warming up for the next 15mins in class, she became more participating. however, as usual, during the roaming and free play section, she would always look for me to carry her. without fail, she will fuss if i don’t carry her, oh well. she still enjoyed the class even though half of the time she is sticking to me, haha. she enjoyed the tamborines, the drums, sand filled toys, etc. all in all, she enjoyed the most was the chops given by teacher shauna and today, she was exceptionally frenly towards teacher shauna, haha. she really is very obedient during the stamp giving away section. she would stand there, wait for everyone to finish first, then she will get her turn. she even followed wad others were doing, that is to pull up her shirt for the stamp on her tummy, lol… she gotten 3 stamps today. :D before going off and after everyone had left, i urged her to say goodbye to teacher shauna again as i feel there would be lesser time or even no much time left for carabelle to see teacher shauna again. :)

Keys to Our Home!

Finally after waiting for more than 2 years, we gotten the keys to our home! we were so excited that we started to look for ID the moment we know the date of the collection. today we collect the keys at 4pm, tmr already gt ID coming to our house to take measurements! so excited we were! although the 1st day we were supposed to run everywhere to activate gas + water and to pay for conservancy charges, as well as sign up for home insurance, we were not perturbed. we did as we were told and finally gotten the keys (cos need to do everything before we collect). lets get ready to see our house down up by next year jan/feb!
