3rd ICT Day 1

today is the 1st day of my 3rd ict. when heard of the training schedule, most of us were quite sian, but expected one la, haha. just that for the whole of next 2 weeks, won’t be able to make any calls to baby le. no matter what, I will do my best for atec and do myself proud. as for baby and niu niu, u 2 must take care wor! I will not be around to help out in the nite during wkdays, so xin ku ni le baby! I love and miss u and niu niu! hope that we will be able to see one another soon! muackz!

Team BBQ

tis bbq event was organized by zach, sheng xian, alwin and alvin wong. it is some sort of a team bonding and a gathering among all the current, ex and non team members. among so many that came were marcus, joseph, sheng xian, wei jie, alvin wong, zach, alvin ng, yuen loong, alwin, de hao, roy, aloysius, zolene, lawrence and his gf.

zach, sheng xian and alwin reached my house at 2+pm to prepare some food for the bbq later. they had actually wanted to go down for some sports after the preparation, but I was busy wif niu niu, so in the end they sat at one corner of my house and ‘watch tv’, haha… at 4pm sharp, the bbq food arrived and was delivered up to my unit. 1st time we saw someone deliver something early, haha…

anyway, we all went down to prepare the bbq pit at 430pm. after which baby helped to prepare niu niu for the swim. after giving them the instructions on the bbq pit and wad not to do, I went bck to bring niu niu down for swim! today’s swim a bit special, cos she got her float! at first, we tested her in the playground pool, she was enjoying herself, ‘walking’ in the pool and playing wif her new toys, swimming cap and goggles… initially my dad let her play wif his goggles, but in the end cannot take back. so my mom go get another goggles n wanted to exchanged wif her, but she used another hand to take n dun wan to return the one she took, wahaha… leaving wif no choice, my mom went back to the bag and took out the swimming cap to exchange for my dad’s goggles, haha… funny~ oh ya, only me n niu niu were in the water as baby wasn’t feeling well. after niu niu had enjoyed herself in the playground pool, baby suggested to bring niu niu to the big pool. so I brought her there and swim. she didn’t actually quite enjoyed herself there as she couldn’t touch the ground. but nonetheless, she still played. at ard 530pm, we decided to go up and get changed, then come down for bbq.

after bathing for niu niu and myself, we went down for bbq! baby already hungry until cannot hungry while waiting for niu niu to finish swimming, haha… but I guess, she didn’t eat much also, as most of the food were bbq-ed by my colleagues. halfway through the bbq, me, sheng xian, alwin, roy, alvin ng and yuen loong went for basketball. we enjoyed ourselves so much until it was already 9pm, haha… we played for ard 1hr I guess. by the time I went bck to the bbq pit, baby already went up to feed niu niu wif milk. :x my bad baby, sorry. (I know u didn’t eat much and wanted to buy something for u to eat, but it was already very late and also niu niu and ur sleeping time…) haiz… but I still muz apologize for having sports during the bbq. wrong move.

anyway, after cleaning up and niu niu finished her milk, we proceeded to the pit to hv the final session of cake cutting! to celebrate feb’s birthday birds~ niu niu and my parents. happy birthday!!! we sang the song and ate the cake, hehe… then it was time to clear up the place and end the session le. late liao late liao~ baby n my parents then went up first to rest while I stayed behind wif some of my colleagues to clear the place. the whole session ended at ard 1030pm. then after the bbq when I went bck to my house, I saw niu niu slp le, then baby suggested that we stayed over in case we disturbed niu niu frm her slp when going bck to baby’s house. so we ended up staying over at my place. wad a tiring but enjoyable day for all of us!

ST Electronics Chinese New Year Dinner

this event is a yearly chinese new year dinner for st electronics (info-software systems) department. it is to commemorate chinese new year. a bit off la, the date, it is after the last day of chinese new year. I tink is becos it is cheaper, wahaha… but nonetheless, it was a very enjoyable dinner. :D

the host made the whole programme very very enjoyable and thrilling, haha… the whole programme included first session of ‘bingo’ game, then interval sessions of lucky draw (but I didn’t get any prizes…), then singing competition of 3 guys, dancing competition, birthday gift away and finally the lasst one was a 3min whole room dancing with the host, haha…

the food was generally ok, nt really very appetizing, but still quite good. 1st dish was lao yu shen, then followed by shark fin’s soup. next was chicken and then fish. after which followed up with yam basket, fried prawns and mushroom with vegetables. final 2 dishes are leaf rice and red bean paste with ginko nuts. I didn’t actually ate until very full even though there were 9 dishes, haha… every one I ate a bit. :P

the whole session started from 530pm all the way to 10pm. wad a long dinner, haha… the actual time they started was 7pm… we reached there at 530pm… ok la, a bit of wasting time, but I enjoyed the whole dinner and laughed until I no voice sia, haha… hope there will be more of this type of dinners, haha…

Jian Long’s Wedding

he is my elder cousin, who just gotten married today. his rom was a few mths back which i didnt attend. the hotel of the banquet is at conrad centennial singapore. duh, the one beside suntec city and millenium walk. the place is quite nice n the settings were very soothing. the whole wedding lasted frm 8pm to 11pm. the seating arrangements were actually quite messy. y i say so leh, is because supposingly say my bro and baby going de, but then the table i am sitting, don’t even have enough seats for them, it was full de lor. more surprisingly, some of the adults actually moved over to another table to sit and our table was shifted of the seatings for most of us n the table actually was able to accomodate another one of my auntie’s family. –.-!!! i dunno la, as long i got place to sit when i reached can liao, lol… the food that we ate are listed below. (oh ya, the food were served separately to each of us. too bad cant snatch the food, hahaha…

1. cold plate (suckling prawn salad, drunken chicken roll, beancurd roll, jellyfish)
2. shark’s fin soup
3. scallop and prawn with honey pea
4. red grouper
5. abalone sliced braised with sea cucumber and chinese cabbage
6. spare rib
7. pi-pa duck
8. udon noodle
9. chilled lemongrass-flavoured jelly

Niu Niu Swimming

today niu niu went swimming at my parent’s condo! wah, she was very very active de loh. although starting quite cold, the water. but after dipping in the water for a few mins, she suddenly very active liao! n she was enjoying the cold water very much! she keep splashing the water wif her feet and her hands loh. baby carrying her had to endure all the water splashing onto her face too, haha… very long nv see niu niu so happily playing wif water le. will try to bring her dwn every wkend to play, haha…

Niu Niu 1st Birthday Celebration

today is my little girl’s birthday celebration. it was brought early because the cake can only be delivered on this day. we had the celebration at zhou’s kitchen at jurong point wif both sides of the family. it was a big celebration for her too. below are some photos that we have taken during the celebration. i hereby wish my little girl happy birthday! may she grow up healthily and be a good girl!
