Lego Grand Emporium

my dear baby bought me the grand emporium as my christmas present! actually she wanted to get me the imperial ship de, haha… but then the grand emporium would match more to the sets that we already have. so in the end she got that. :P i will buy the imperial ship nx year ard june timing when my nx bonus is here, hehe… anyway, i couldn’t take the photo of the emporium as it was wrapped up to signify as a present to me, lol… wait till i opened liao, then i will take photo of it! (most likely 2years later? lol!!!)

My Maternal Grandmother Passed Away

my beloved maternal grandma passed away on tis day in malaysia. she was at her ripe old age of 91. haiz… didnt had any chance to go in to see her b4 her last breath… i will cfm miss her de, especially when tinking of her playing the ‘car horse cannon’ card game. n that was the last and only chance we had played wif her. ever since the nx visit into malaysia, she couldn’t play anymore. for all her last few mths, she was suffering from illnesses up to an extent that she had to amputate one of her lower legs… haiz… the last time to see her was when she had her leg amputated… really feel sad for her and most probably, the best blessing for her is to move on to the next world… no matter wad, she will still fill up one of the slot in my memory and will stick wif me forever till the last breath. hope she will rest in peace and find tranquillity in the next world. i love and miss u ah ma!

Universal Studio Trip

our first trip to universal studio after it opened quite long time ago, haha… the tickets were bought at a discounted price of 50% and of wkday price. company’s offer to celebrate christmas, lol… but it was incredibly cheap and i gotten 5 of the tickets. (for baby’s family side, my family didnt wan to go as my parents had went b4 and my bro is in brunei during the period. so that’s why i gotten 5 onli.)

well anyway, we set off at 1015am to have our breakfast at the coffee shop below, 11am we set off for universal studio! by the time we reached there, it was already 1130am, wad a long journey, haha… by the time we reached USS, niu niu already aslp… :\ lets not talk so much about the whole journey, will post the photos below for u to see!

this was the rollercoaster that i was looking forward to, but it was closed down until first half of 2011… wad a pity…	i am helping out wif construction works in USS :P

baby bought herself 2 bags! the designs were quite nice and they were of the betty boop’s brand. (dunno whether that’s a brand or nt :P) 1 big bag and 1 smaller handbag. we gotten niu niu 5 clothings too, 2 neon shirts (buy 2 get 1 free), 2 normal ones and 1 dress. the other 1 shirt that we bought was for baby’s cousin de. so in total there were 6 clothes. finally, we bought some chocolate candies which were v cheap if compared to buying separately outside. of course all of the above were bought using the 5x $5 vouchers.

apart from shopping, we also went to some rides. 4d show at far far away land, steven spielberg’s special effects studio as well as the water world. we skipped the rapid fall as we had to queue 50mins for it, as well as the egypt’s rollercoaster as baby was too afraid to sit, haha…

overall, our experience in the USS was fun and i hope that the next time we go in, the galactica rollercoaster would be ready!

Lung Fei’s Wedding

today is our beloved fren, lung fei’s wedding. he held his wedding  dinner at oriental mandarin hotel in orchard, sommerset. n also happened that during the same day, i was having my company event for the whole afternoon at singapore flyer and marina square. i had to rush back home to fetch my little girl and baby to the wedding. by the time we reached the hotel, it was already 830pm. n also, we couldn’t get into the carpark as it was full. we had to wait until around 9pm b4 we could get in.

n so we got to the wedding ard 915pm, luckily it was only the 2nd dish, still gt food to eat, haha… oh ya, the layout of the wedding area was quite special as there were 3 layers of platforms of tables. we were sitted on the 3rd layer. the whole wedding was ok loh, food nt too bad, quite nice. also something special is that the camera man, could take our photos, transfer back to the central laptops, print on the spot and pass to us! we were all so fascinated, haha… quite surprised that we could get our photos on the spot so quickly. so we gotten quite a few photos for ourselves, haha.

the whole event ended at ard 12+am at his hotel room. oh, niu niu had to have her meal, so went up to feed her altogether, lol… we left after her meal. wad a tiring nite, lol…

Tron Legacy

i give tis movie at 4/5 rating. actually when i first saw the trailer, i didnt know what was it talking abt as the trailer was v vague. until i watched the movie, then i know what they are talking about. it is abt the male lead’s father who hacked into the grid and began creating a perfect digital world where ppl could come and go as they please. but nt long into the creation, there were some problems that caused him not able to go bck to the real world. in the end, the son was left fatherless for years. until some day, the son somehow managed to get into the grid and reconciled wif the father. but as they tried to get out of the grid, the father sacrificed himself to save both his son and his found fren from grid. so yah, the story is some what like this. if you would like to know more, watch the movie. :)

ST Electronics Christmas Celebration

today was almost a 2/3 day off from office as our department had prepared a christmas celebration at singapore flyer. it was a buffet lunch at O’learys sports bar and grill. the food there was quite ok onli la, nt really tantalising. wad was good out of the food i had was turkey meat, mutton, tiramisu, corn and the best was the chicken ham, lol… the whole buffet lasted for abt 2hrs, from 1130am to 130pm.

After the buffet, we went to have a walk at marina square and i bought a box of chocolates. it is called ferrero gardens. i bought it at $10 while baby bought the other box at marina bay sands for $18. maybe is becos i bought it at a discount rate ba. :\ anyway, after our shopping, we went to have our another event, to watch movie called ‘Tron Legacy’. i will pen down the rating in the next post. this movie lasted for 2hrs and by the time we finished watching, it is almost 6pm! i had to rush bck n get prepared for the nite event at my fren’s wedding at meritius mandarin hotel in orchard… oh dear… wad a rush today, lol…

Rapunzel: A Tangled Tale

this animated movie is nice, it is interesting and only from this movie did i know that rapunzel’s hair actually is magical. :P the whole movie’s best entertainer is the hourse, maximus, haha… the expressions on him is hilarious. especially when he is fighting or interacting wif the male lead, erm… i 4gt the name. :P anyway, this animated movie is a must catch for all disney fans. i give it a 4/5 rating. :)
