Outing With Ex-CrimsonLogic Friends

we finally managed to have 1 organized outing, a small one although. the whole schedule for the day is ktv and bowling. we had a lot of interesting happenings during this outing. i shall continue to narrate our happenings for the day~

at ard 1030, i was supposed to leave home for ktv. but then nobody’s home so i had to help to look after zi xuan while baby pump her milk. so after baby finished and her mom is back, time is already 1115. i quickly helped to settle the things a bit then head down to the ktv. eugene was the 1st to reach at 1100 and already ‘finished’ singing his songs b4 any of us reached there, lol… i reached there only ard 1130. when i reached there, only eugene was there. chinyao and linjy were on mia list. juz then chinyao called me and asked me which ktv am i at, so i explained to him the other new ktv at the huge hawker centre. seems like not many ppl know about this ktv, lol…

when he reached, he told us that he went to the other ktv at the other side. the one nearer to amk hub. n he was gg up to the ktv wif another lady, then dat lady was asking the person where is the room. they told her dat it is at the other ktv. then chinyao was saying that he walked up to the counter confidently that we would be there and asked for the room k9, then the counter told him it is at the other ktv too, lol… wad a joker, haha… then when the 3 of us arrived already, we started ordering for hainanese chicken rice. and continued our ktv. lin jy only arrived ard 1pm… then she also ordered curry chicken rice. chinyao was saying that maybe the ktv went downstairs to da bao a $2 chicken rice n serve us, lol… after the ktv at ard 2.30pm, we headed down to yishun safra to continue our 2nd part of the day, bowling~~

we tried to get kris to meet us at yishun mrt so we can go bring him down to safra together. but then he was saying he wanted to go himself, so we gave him the directions on how to get there. oh ya, chinyao was saying that he met myint cho at a seminar this morning and got to know that kris was actually working in the morning. but kris told ug that he gt something on, lol… ok, back to the main story, we reached safra and wanted to book a lane for our bowling, only to know that it was fully booked by dunno some arses for training until 9pm… oh well… we had to head to orchid country club instead… then ug called kris to meet up at yishun mrt instead. then as he was asking kris where is he, he was still at home! lol!! ug was quite pissed and told kris to meet up at the bus stop outside northpoint after 10mins. haha… so i went to pump petrol first. after pumping petrol, i drove dwn to the bus stop, but he was nowhere to be found. so chinyao called again and asked where is he. he was at the taxi stand on the other side of northpoint… we were all like er… kris was still saying chinyao told him at the taxi stand, hahaha…

looking at the time of 1540, lin jy could not join us for the bowling later, so i dropped her off at khatib mrt. we headed down to orchid country club after dat. now here comes the interesting part. lets not mention that we had to wait for 30mins before our turn comes as there is also a lot of ppl playing. we gotten lane 34 and started our warm up for the 1st game. interestingly, 1st game nth much except that ug managed to wash the left and right drains at rd 8, lol… n then we were saying that whoever didnt hit 100, muz pay for dat game. n he actually hit exactly 100 at the end! lol!!! see the picture to the right for urself! juz to update u, u == ug, c == chinyao, b == me, k == kris. kris won the 1st game, haha… then we proceeded to the 2nd game. we all were quite hyped up already, so starting a lot of strikes frm all of us. only chinyao didnt manage to get a high score, he also stressed, but in the end, like ug, he managed to get exactly 100! lol… then ug again washed the drains in game 7, haha… he also slipped and fell during 1 of the throws. see the picture to the left for the end result of game 2! i almost hit 4 strikes this time rd! sad man! nvm, i could aim for it in the 3rd game. but then 3rd game, all of us down liao, except chinyao. he was on form! all of us were getting v low points while he got quite a number of strikes and spares. in the end, i almost gotten another turkey and to aim for 4 strikes, but too bad, haha… no, at least me and chinyao managed to hit 100 for all 3 games! :D only kris and ug hit less than 100. oh ya, another interesting thing is, ug again slipped and fell. kris even more pow… it was his turn to throw the ball, so he powered up his run and then throw… he held on to the ball when he was throwing! we were all like stunned wth he doing, haha… only gotten to know that his fingers actually stuck to the ball, wahahaha… check out the last game score to the right. :)

after the last game at 1810, we met up wif baby, her mom and our baby at jubilee popeye fast food. then me and ug were waiting for our 1 more chicken each for quite some time. so i wanted to go and ask, cos i finished all my food already! then they came. the person actually gave me 2 pieces and ug 1 piece, lol… i already had 1 piece but they still gave me 2 pieces. i ordered onli a 2 piece meal, so i actually gotten the other 1 for free. gave 1 piece to kris and i finished the other one. then the cleaner also v cute, clear things also very fast. ug havent finished his drink, the cleaner also clear. in the end, the cleaner get 1 new cup for him, haha… after finishing our food, all of us headed home, and that is roughly ard 7pm already. thanks all for the entertainment we had today. i will be organizing another one maybe 2mths later. subjected to time availability and personnel availability. haha…

A Rare Visit to CrimsonLogic

today made a very rare visit back to my previous company crimsonlogic. i onli managed to find time to go dwn after onli i finished my meeting at dsta at 4am. i reached crimsonlogic at ard 430pm and psycho-ed jimmy to come dwn to bring me up, haha…

when i reached there, i told the security guard i coming for meeting, lol… then juz when i was writing my name n getting the pass, rajan saw me, haha… so he escorted me up instead. then i went ard meeting all the ex-colleagues frm iels, haha… took me ard 1hr to finish visiting all of them. some of them were nt in today and some already left the company. sad to say i wouldnt be able to see some of them again when i might be coming bck nx mth for another visit.

but still good to see them alive and kicking, haha… even though they are still fighting for the project. :P hope they can pull thru and deliver the project, lol…

went to catch tis much awaited movie today n it really was gd. the whole story covered on him trying to establish wing chun in hong kong and spreading it. the fightings were very gd and samuel hong was also a very gd cast in the movie. after watching this movie, i read some parts here n there about him. apparently he learnt from 2 different masters on wing chun, chan wah shun and leung bik. i shall nt tell too much on this as there will be another movie coming up in june on his learning of wing chun. i give this movie a 4.5/5 rating. one of the better movies for spreading chinese martial arts.

1 Year Wedding Anniversary

as i hv mentioned in my previous entry, today is planned by baby. morning session as usual, will be for xiao niu to ‘prepare’ herself for her outing. yah, she will be following us for the afternoon trip. so today we were gg to baby’s grandma house for a short visit. we left baby’s mom and xiao niu at her grandma’s house while me n baby went down to citibank to settle our citibank credit cards. baby went down to cancel hers, while i went down to apply mine.

after finishing the whole thing, we went bck to her grandma’s house to sit for a while before gg out for lunch together wif her mom, her auntie, baby and xiao niu. we went to pepper lunch at amk hub. baby’s auntie very ‘forcefully’ paid for our meals which costs ard 40+. after the lunch, we went down to ntuc to buy some items. and again, baby’s auntie ‘forcefully’ paid for the items too… lol… thks to her auntie. :) i went up to buy “yip man 2” movie tickets for the nite while they waited at the ntuc level. then baby proposed to send her back to her home, but she still rejected us… :\ really is a very kind and good auntie.

we all went home after dat, had our dinner at home then headed to watch yip man 2 at 845pm. it was a very gd movie and u can preview it at my next entry. :) although today didnt actually celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary, i was v happy cos we all spent the time together today. :) i still wan to say, i love u lots baby! muackz!!! happy 1 year wedding anniversary!!!

Pre One Year Wedding Anniversary Celebration

baby and me had our 1st year wedding pre-celebration on this date. cos tml is a monday ma, also is a working day. (but i m not working!!) today’s schedule or itinerary is planned by me, tml is by baby, lol… since today is mother’s day, me, baby, her mom and niu niu went to baby’s church to celebrate mother’s day. they gotten gifts from the church itself for the event. after dat we went for breakfast at kfc at northpoint. the actual celebration starts in the afternoon.

at ard 2pm we set off to our 1st designated place. when we boarded our car, i presented the 1st gift to baby. (was actually accidentally revealed to baby yesterday… cos she peaked! :P) so giving her the present, she opened on the spot, haha… it is a mother’s day swatch limited edition. to the right is the picture of the watch~ tis was supposed to be the 1st surprise for her, haha… oh well…

after which we set off towards east coast for our planned cycling activity. along the way, told baby dat i need to go technopreneur to visit my ‘teacher’. i supposed she find something fishy la, haha.. but then still asked her to help me to check out the place on the map. we took quite some time to find the place as it was very ulu. it is somewhere in the industrial park at bouna vista. after reaching, i told her to wait in the car while i go up to find my ‘teacher’. when i reached the 1st floor, i called the real person (salesperson) of angelflorist, where i bought the flowers for her. tis is the 2nd surprise i was gg to give her, lol… supposed to ask the person to deliver to her house one, but then morning need go church, so went dwn personally to collect.

the interesting thing is, i reached the place, the person told me 8th floor, so i took one of the lift. when i tried to press 8, it does not respond, so i tried 7, ehh it does. was tinking of walking up the stairs from 7th floor. but who knows, when i reached 7th floor, all access to the stairs were blocked/locked! i was like erm… hw to get to 8th floor ar?… so i went bck dwn, tried the other lift from another area. yeah, tis time can go 8th floor. but wth? after reaching 8th floor, i was locked outside the main area! so i quickly called the person and she took the flowers to me. she told me dat i was at the cargo area, i was supposed to access thru the passenger area at the other side of the building. lol… confusing place. but nonetheless, i brought the flowers bck to my car and to baby, hehe… see the actual picture!!

after presenting the 2nd and last present to her, we proceeded to east coast park. we reached there ard 3.40pm. then went for a short bite first, cos didnt wan to squeeze wif the crowd during dinner. we ordered quite some food there, 10 chicken satays, 1 sting ray, 1 veg (kai lan), 2 chicken wings and 2 cups of sugar cane (1 wif lemon). took us some 1hr to finish up the food. after dat we went to cycle.

we rented a 2 person bicycle for $9. starting time was 4.50pm. n so we proceeded to cycle towards changi direction. after being in seclusion for so long, we had difficulty starting the cycling process, haha… was quite wobbly when we started cycling. but due to my gd technical skills and intelligent coordination, i was able to resume my control. :P tis was my first time cycling so far towards changi. didnt know the route was so long and far. we cycled there and bck and then to the other side (just before the seafood restaurants) and back. by then it was 5.45pm already. so we rested a while, had 1 ice-cream and proceeded to parkway parade for our ‘shopping’.

we went there to see see the shopping centre and also bought 2 car items back home. 1 is a anti-slip mat and the other is 2 cushions for the neck at the front car seats. we also had 1 large cup of ice milk tea from mos burger as we were very thirsty. we finally bought 1 last item for xiao niu, a collection of soft toy fruits. there, the picture is there~~~

we went home after the last item bought. we really enjoyed today the whole day outside, and of course, nx time will be together wif xiao niu liao, haha…

Lego Fire Station

baby gave me a pre-anniversary surprise by buying me a lego fire station set! i love it dearly, i believe baby also, haha… it is a very nice set to have and it will go along fine together wif my previous collections of the city sets. below is a small small preview of the fire station that i have yet to start. i will only start building the whole city set once my house arrives in 2012. :)

Mother’s & Father’s Day Celebration

we decided to have our celebration together wif the 2 families. of course is my side and baby’s side. xiao niu also went along! we went dwn to tao’s restaurant at promo shopping centre, which is somewhere near dhoby ghaut. the 2 of us and her bro paid for the meal. a total of $163.10 for all. the whole meal was damn full loh… even though its onli a 6 course meal, but still, it was quite filling. but then if those heavy eaters, cfm nt enugh one. so after the meal, my parents went off first cos they were gg to malaysia wif my grandma to pay respect to one of my dad’s uncle, who juz passed away recently. as for my parents-in-law, we set off together to the double helix bridge.

the walk there was quite hot due to the sun so bright~~ we were all sweaty already when we reached there. yeah, it looked quite grand, but actually there is nth much for u to see in the day. i believe the nite view will be much nicer. we made our way there by leg, n we made our way bck by leg too, lol… we were all so thirsty and tired after climbing the slope from the grd floor to the 2nd floor of marina sq. so we sat down at star bucks to hv some drinks. after that we walked to suntec and visited the carrefour for some shopping. bought some $54.55 worth of items. then we headed bck by 7+pm. we were all so dead beat that all of us slpt ard 12, including xiao niu, haha…
