Actual Day (Morning Event)

yesh, now is the time to describe to all of you what actually happened throughout this whole event!

early morning at 6am, i woke up to prepare for the 2nd round of 安床, to place the new oranges and the 发糕 on the bed. then after which i prepared the ang baos for the gate crashing. these items were bought yesterday, but only had time to do them today cos last nite collected the car quite late. by the time i finished collecting the car for setting up the flowers is already 9+. at nite also went out to collect 发糕 from my wife. :D (ppl say 1 day before cannot see each other, but we still see each other, haha…) :P okok, so preparation of the ang bao started from 7am till 830am. :)

from 830am onwards, started preparing for setting out. at around 930am, all the respective brothers arrived! we then started to do a check on what to bring and to get rdy for the gatecrashing too! wah, getting excited, especially when i am going to drive the beetle car that i rented. :) the car is very nice. (i hope to buy from the current owner too in the future)

okok, less to say, we packed everything n set off at 1015am. ug even told me to honk when we reached there, haha. and so i opened up the canvas of the beetle car and drove along the journey to baby’s house. at ard 1035am, we reached baby’s house. we started honking the cars to inform them we hav already reached. :D n there we waited for them, here come the 2 ladies, jolene and dengli. they were supposed to be the 1st stage of the gatecrashing. but then even the person to open the door is nt there, so cannot proceed! lol… 5mins later, baby’s cousin came down to open the door for me. n so after i got off the car, we started the 1st stage!

Customary (Actual Wedding Day)

yes, finally it is over! all thanks to my brothers and sisters, as well as both the family members who helped out a lot for the whole event! i would also like to take this opportunity to thank all those who came to my wedding. i am very touched and very happy that i would see u all. i also thank those that didnt come but their ang bao did come on their behalf. thanks a lot, thanks for attending. i hope u all enjoyed the lunch (relatives) as well as the dinner (friends). i will be updating the blog soon with the actual day event! look out for more!!!

安床！！

today! marks again, another milestone of the wedding line! today’s mission is to get set to fix dwn all the items at the right time! gotten up at 8+ in the morning to change the bed sheet, pillow cases, bolster cases and to add on a new quilt. :) then at 10pm, i went down to plaza to try to find a 发糕 for the 安床, but then only to know that it is onli available on the 1st and 15th of every lunar mth. it is ok! only 1 发糕 will not deter me from 安床! so i came back home, started arranging all the fruits and the other miscellaneous items. after making sure everything is prepared, i started to place the fruits and say the following few gd words:

百年好合，永结同心，白头到老，儿孙满堂，订婚良缘，佳偶成天，相亲相爱，甜甜蜜蜜，心心相印，天长地久。

after placing everything, ok, gd… i tired no place to rest :x then my bro watching tv outside with his gf, so cannot slp outside. no place to slp, so do my own things, lol… oh, ya ya, the pictures for the 安床 can be found below!

Wedding Meeting on 071109

today is another milestone for our wedding. the last major meeting between the brothers/sisters and us. let me start from what we were preparing for the whole day.

i went out to sheng siong to ger baby’s freshener at $1 each, as the other places were selling at ridiculously funny prices. then i proceeded to baby’s house in the morning to fetch her n bring some of the stuff over to my house. after we set off from her house, we went down to the centr@l to collect our sticky candies! after collection, we went to IMM for gown fitting. then for lunch n back home. by the time we came back home, it was already 4+pm. n we were going to head down to amk to buy baby’s curtains at 6, so there was actually not enugh time to rest. we prepared for the nite between 4+ to 6, n then head down to amk to buy the curtains.

since we were there already, so might as well fetch the other 3 ladies, charmaine, jolene and dengli over to my house. we also had our dinner there before heading for home at around 730pm. after which in between 815 to 9pm, all the ladies n guys reached subsequently. then our mass production line began… we had 2 groups of packaging line, all the ladies were packing the red box, while the guys were doing the other colored boxes. ok, dats all i can explained up to here. give u all some surprise on that day. :P by the timee we finished up the packaging, it was already 1030pm! but still, we were very happy that we managed to finish up the whole thing.

the ladies went down to check on the function room with the deco right after the packaging. then at ard 11pm, they were back, and we started our briefing for the actual day. so on n on we went, asking questions, joking about some of the things and then finally we finished the 1st part of the briefing by me. 2nd part was the deco, which, baby n me were not allowed to know. so we were asked to get to the room to rest, while they did the discussion. :x

after 45mins gone, they finally finished, lol… wad a lengthy discussion… :x nonetheless, we were all very tired le. so i decided to fetch them back since it was already 12+am in the morning. xueting’s bf came to fetch her, so luckily, the car can sit ‘5 passengers’. :P by the time i finished sending them back, it was already 2+! oh dear! when i was back home, i saw baby slping in an odd position n so i asked her to slp properly, lol…

after my bath, i also couldnt continue anymore, so went to bed after a while… wad an exhuastive day! thanks all the brothers/sisters in helping out with my wedding preparation. could not have thanked u all enough! thanks!!!

Coraline

ok, tis animation was one of those that i actually most wished to watch, lol… keep telling baby to come watch together. all in all, this animation is not bad. (oh ya, we watched the non-3d one) only found at cineleisure. all other cinemas showing 3d version de.

okok, back to the main content. this animation is talking about a girl named Coraline, who moved to a new house. then as she was pestering her parents to do something together with her, she was chased to do other things. so she found this small little door in her house that led to another replica of her current house. in this house, there was her other parents, with their eyes sewn with buttons.

so in this other world she is in, she was given everything that she wanted. n so she keep coming back every nite, until one day, she found out the truth that the other world, was actually to ‘kidnap’ kids n capture their souls. n so when she was trapped, she was supposed to help 3 kids to free their souls and to return to the real world.

n so she did her best to escape from her captor, the witch who created the other world. in the end, the witch was locked in the other world and the key was thrown deep down into a well, never to be seen again.

rating for this animation would be 3.5/5. :)

Extreme Movie

oh gosh… one of the worst movies i ever watched… talking about sex… –.-‘’’ talking about sex still nevermind, but all the shit things inside… sibei poor… but because of the ladies that are casted inside, ok, i tink still nt too bad la. the female lead is nt bad loh, but all the guys… cmi… rating 1/5…

过大礼

today is the 1st major milestone of the wedding. we had prepared ourselves for this special day. finally it came, awaiting soooo long for it. and we were so tired out by this event itself that as i am writing this article, my wife is soundly aslp, lol… actually nth much for this event itself, just to bring the guy’s portion over to lady’s side, then exchange exchange the gifts, then guy will collect back the items, that’s all. so simple for my side hor, lol… oh ya, below are some photos taken during the event itself. basically those items that are listed there are the before, during and after the event.
