1st Farewell Lunch In ST

today is the 1st farewell lunch since i came to ST to work. actually nt really the 1st farewell lunch, but then is one of the more official ones. tis time is to ‘celebrate’ the departure of zolene and aloysius. last nite we went for a farewell ktv, today farewell lunch, haha… me, marcus, zolene, aloysius, zach, sheng xian, alwin, alvin, wai mun, weijie and matthew went down to jack’s place at amk. we ordered 5 dory fish sets and 6 chicken sets. during lunchtime, pan ling ling and her whole family turned up, sitting right in front of my view. i tink a lot of other ppl from other tables were also looking at them, haha… right in front of my view sia… hw lucky can i be. :P so we had our lunch from 1145am to 130pm, lol… super long lunch. :P n yeah, dats the 1st official farewell lunch. :)

KTV With Colleagues

my whole team from my office went for ktv at amk today. we were 'celebrating' our 2 colleagues' departure from our team to other projects at dsta. one of them is my partner or senior to the module i am doing. we went for dinner first before gg to the ktv. we spent like 4+hrs over there for each at $8. this includes 5 tidbits and each a drink. very cheap hor, i oso didnt know its dat cheap. but then not everyone frm my team turned up for the ktv. only me, zack, weijie, alvin, alwin, sheng xian, zolene, roy, aloysius and matthew. we had a lot of fun! hopefully we hv more of these type of events. :) good luck and all the best to zolene and aloysius.

Visiting My Grandma In Malaysia

paid a visit to my grandma just yesterday and had a long journey in to malaysia for abt 4 - 5 hours. i drove all the way there from singapore… Zzzzz… we set off at 530am and reached there around almost 12pm. i tink is cos we stopped for breakfast for quite a while. after reaching there, we went up to see our grandma. ok, forgot to tell u my whole family was there.

my grandma was lying on her bed, looking very haggard, very skinny and very moody. she was like virtually skin wrapping the bones. but she is still very much alive n kicking. although recently after her operation, she doesnt want to eat much. maybe is becos of her ulcer, which is quite painful when come into contact wif food. however, we tried to talk to her, make her laugh sometimes. everytime i see her being served by my aunties, her face very cute one. always either frown, or shake head. haha…

even though she looks very weak, but her will to live on is very strong. i heard from my mom dat the doctor who operated on her, says that it is very rare to see such an old lady able to live through operation at her age. just to update all of you, my grandma is already 91 yrs old. ripe old age le. she has lived for very very long n i am guessing dat she should be very contented wif her life. i believe she can still live a few more years. (dun wan to mention to all of you about her condition, just to know that she is still looking good.)

then at nite we all went to the usual place for our steamboat dinner. as per last time we went last year. tis time we really had our fill, haha… totally bulged out… juz kidding :P then at nite we went to my another auntie’s house to sleep cos we drove the new car up to malaysia and is worried dat it might get stolen or damaged. (oh ya, we heard from our auntie that my cousin had 2 lorries and 1 merz stolen at the place where they stayed… and also my other cousin had her car’s exhaust pipe stolen… wads even worse is, their ‘hdb’ the lift buttons and the metal plate were stolen… -.-‘’’ these ppl really is cannot make it man… totally… inconsiderate ppl, hope they get caught and get jailed for life. knn…)

so nx day we assembled bck at my grandma’s place and stayed there for a while before leaving for home at 1pm. tis time, i only drove the car out to abt 100km away from my grandma place and switched to my bro driving, haha… had a gd slp through till the custom. :D

Went to See Car

today went to take a look at 2nd hand cars with my parents and my bro. actually we were not supposed to be gg there de, but cos my bro says he wanted to get a car, scared my parents, haha… so that was y they instead gave him the old nissan sunny and then my parents went to get another 2nd hand car for themselves. n so all of us went down in the afternoon to old turf city.

after we reached there, my parents started to surf for their ‘dream’ car. looking ard for cars <= 1600cc. then i also proceeded to make my own enquiry of my ‘dream’ car too, which is 2000cc suv. after querying for close to 2 hours, we took a rest at a nearby coffeeshop and decide on which model to get. so my parents gotten a mazda 3 1600cc sports edition. they gotten the car at a price of 37k. at first the price was 39k, managed to push down abt 2k. then they also paid full for the car, which is without installments dat is. the salesperson who served them do not have a very gd attitude, talking to us is like fighting like dat. tsk tsk…

n so i also gotten my hyundai tucson 2.0a from another salesperson. also at the same price of 37k from 40k. but onli paid a 12k up front and then the rest on a 4yr installment. which sums up to about $569 per mth. yeah, finally gotten my car. :P i even gave a surprise to my wife a week later when we went to register for season parking. she only knew about the car on the 27th april 10, haha… super big surprise for her!!! oh ya, have yet to take a photo of the car, but u all can search for it on the web. u should be able to find the model. :)

Updates on Zi Xuan

i m gradually gg to stop calling her xiao niu le. as she slowly grows up, i will call her by her actual name, either zi xuan or carabelle. nwadays when i m home, i take some time off to communicate wif her. ok la, nt really communicate, just to erm, talk to her. haha… but then in some sort of baby language, like “hmmm”, “ehhh”, “anggu”, “ooo”, “anggi”, “ahdu ahdu”, “gulugulu”, “weee”, etc… n she will reply back wif some of her own shouting also. when i see her smile, laugh and keep replying me wif her shouting / talking, i am very happy. lol… well, babies are born to be cute de ma. :P hope she will always be very cute and always be as happy as me, lol… i have put in some of the more recent photos below, enjoy urself. :)

A Visit to the Dentist

today went for a visit to the dentist, but what i want to mention is not about the dental visit, rather is about 2 malay adults who also happened to visit the dentist. these 2 malays very the not automatic. they were talking quite loudly in the clinic, so noisy. also there is this stretch of bench dat could sit up to 4 persons, the 2 of them sit in the middle lor! i cant even find the space to sit by the side! these 2 adults really is buay automatic. i standing in front of them, waiting for my turn. they still sit there talking to each other loudly. dun even want to give up a bit of space for me. wth man. wad un-automatic persons there could be. despise tis kind of ppl, no thought for the others one. hate them!

Clash of the Titans

went to watch clash of the titans today. nth very spectacular about the movie. maybe only the fighting part wif the scorpions n one of the ‘bosses’, lol… other than dat, quite a normal movie. the only thing is the ending a bit disappointed. the kraken was killed by a medussa’s without doing anything to it. oh well… 3/5 rating for the movie.

1st Night Soccer

today is the 1st night soccer i ever played. i reached there quite early n was already feeling tired, haha… well, had my fun of the day by scoring 1 goal. :P at least i managed to score, hehe… too bad they only played 2hrs, most of them r tired already, haha… i could still continue another hr one, too bad~ so by the time we finish n i reached home, was already 3am. time to rest for the nite!
