watched this movie last nite but then watch halfway too tired, went to bed, haha… so this morning continued the other half of the movie. tis movie talks about 1 person, experiencing living with zombies around. basically keeping himself and his freidns alive in the land of the zombie. nothing much, its like someone writing a diary and explaining what happens during that time. luckily i bought the dvd to watch instead of going to cinema. not worth the $$ actually. rating 2.5/5.

Tomorrow Prep for Delivery!

today is 30th Jan 2010. the EDD of xiao niu. but then xiao niu dun wan come out, muz be too cosy inside baby’s womb liao, lol… so no choice, tml baby had to be admitted to TMC (thomson medical center) to perform induction. hopefully after induction everything will go smoothly. i think xiao niu will be very obedient and try to help her mummy to come out one. :) tml morning baby will be going to church to pray for the delivery. even though i am a free tinker, i hope baby will be able to endure all the pain throughout the delivery and make it a memorable one for all of us. love u baby, muackz!

A Wonderful BBQ…

today was a very wonderful day for all of us. to say, it was very fun to have the whole team bbq-ing together. let me list down all those who appeared for today’s bbq. of course me, pradip, eugene, jing jing, lih fen, jimmy, valli, vanamali, jamie, rajan, jeanette, jose, lin jy, alex, kris, swaroop, bp, anton, muthu and heeling. oh ya, 4got to mention that it is held at jose’s condo (which is quite near my condo too, haha…)

initially asked bp to allow jose and some of us to go off early first, so after getting his approval of ‘not making it official’ to go off early, jose n eugene set off for the journey to jose’s condo at 5pm. i couldnt make it to go with them cos i was having an internal meeting. oh well, this was the funny part. both jose n eugene took 183 to clementi at 5pm. at the most give them 15mins to wait for 1 bus. at 6pm, they were still on the way to clementi! lol!!! there was massive jam and it took them 45mins just to get to clementi, haha… then when me n lih fen was driving down to fetch them, they were still waiting for cab until we reach their waiting area, lol…

then when they have all boarded lih fen’s car, jose was telling us that the caterer supposingly reached at 530pm, however, due to the maid has no $$, so he has to wait, lol… then after waiting for a while, the caterer said he will come bck again at 630pm, but we are still on the way to jose’s house! lol!! then the caterer waited again for another 30mins b4 we reached jose’s house lor, haha… poor caterer, had to wait for sooooo long. :P (at that time, me, kris, jose and eugene were in lih fen’s car, lol…)

okok, after we reached jose’s house at 7pm, we started preparing for the bbq. while eugene and i started to wonder how to setup the bbq pit, jose and kris started to get the food down. oh ya, just want to complain 1 thing about jose’s bbq pit, haha… everything looked so gd from the outside, but then place to put charcoal is sooooo weird! its like, erm… the position of the things are not fixed correctly! in the end, ok, we decided to change the layout of the items there, lol… so after setting up the place, i went to help jose to get the food down while eugene setup the fire with lih fen.

after we came down with the food, eugene was still setting up the fire. so we all helped to layout the food on the table. then at which we received news that, the rest of the gang, actually dropped off at hume’s park 2! which is actually 2 condos away from jose’s one! lol… poor them, had to walk all the way to jose’s condo, lol…

at around 730pm, almost all reached the place already. fire still hasnt really started up, still trying to make a ‘big fire’. then rajan was the first to ask how come fire not yet started, he wan come here to eat one leh, hahaha. too bad! wahahaha! all was so excited to help out at the bbq pit, rearranging the charcoal, setting up the fire, preparing the food to be bbq-ed and fanning the fire. it took us some time to get the fire up and running. but it was very successful after everyone’s help in setting up. n the fire was really very big, ok not big, the heat was very strong. :P it is strong enough to heat up or cook the food. gd job guys, we gotten a very gd ‘smoke screen’, hahaha…

okok, so the whole event was actually all laugh and talks and fun. really had my fun there with everyone. just love to see everyone so get together. the event lasted till about 10pm and then we started to slowly pack and then have a farewell speech. oh well, it was me who start first again. :P ok then, i started, haha… first and foremost, wan to thank thida first, cos i was under her for very long and learnt quite a lot of things la. although sometimes she is quite unreasonable la, haha… but too bad she isnt here, haha… then went on to thank everyone for iels, even mentioned everyone’s module that linked to me, haha… then of course really had fun today n in iels. wish everyone their best and hope without me around, they can still enjoy. :) most importantly, i had a lot of hugs frm quite a lot of ppl, haha… yeah, my speech i guess was the longest, then on came alex, anton and lin jy. jamie even dropped tears during the speech… poor her, to see so many close friends leaving…

to me, i dont actually want to leave de… but becos of family, i had to move nearer, give my family more time by reaching home earlier. since my xiao niu juz came out, dont want to always reach home at 8pm, hav dinner and bath till 9+pm. by then, xiao niu would hv slpt already. dont have enough time to interact with her. so i made the decision to leave the company. guys, really i didnt really meant to leave u all, but really its all for the family. but i promise, i will treat u all frens as always. frankly speaking, i hv nv treated u all as colleagues when i gotten to know u. colleagues and frens are different rite, when i treat u all frens meaning u all are closer to me liao, hehe… yah, ok, dun worry, i hv promised all of u that i shall occassionally hold some events so all of u can get together. i do not wish to break contact with anyone of u. so hopefully in the future, we can still meet up for coffee (ok, i prefer tea :P) or some events like karaoke or bowling or even sports like badminton or table tennis!

btw, look forward to something that i will give u all before i leave. it will be something so special that i believe, no one has done it before. :) i love all of you for giving me this last chance to spend the bbq nite with all of you! muackz!!!

What a Disgrace to Singaporeans

nt i wan to say about singaporeans anyhow la, but today at the mrt, i really withness the ultimate disgrace of how singaporeans can be. it happened while i was in the mrt train, standing by the side of the door, at admiralty station. i was as usual, playing psp while on travel. then while the door opened at the station, there these 2 person, a guy and a lady, running in to grab 2 available seats by the window. when they sat down already, they are still staring and scolding each other for a few seconds. i was like disgusted with their actions as a singaporean… everyone was looking at them lor! don’t they feel ashame of themselves for doing this kind of actions. furthermore, they are adults in their mid 40s at least! what a shame… even teenagers also can think better than them… shame on them… the lady still tried to cover her own face by reading newspapers immediately after the staring and scolding… haiz… luckily i am not their child, else i would hv nowhere to face ppl…

Lao Yu Shen

baby house started to lao yu shen early this year, cos during the chinese new year, happened to be baby’s confinement period. she is not allowed to eat a lot of chinese new year goodies, haha… so everything she prepare and get early, so she can eat everything before her confinement. so today is lao yu shen, haha… then after we finish lao-ing, we realised the ‘kaka’ too much, lol… put too much liao. (‘kaka’ is the crispy cracker – somemore baby likes to eat it a lot, so put 2 packs, lol…) in the end, i also help to finish after my dinner… :P

Clay Modelling~

hmmm, clay modelling wasnt my fav hobby, but since baby want to do, i also do together with her. :) so she decided to do an angel, i oso follow her, do an angel. we did this modelling quite late in the nite at around 1030pm. the whole process lasted about 2hrs. baby prepared all the materials and the ‘environment’ for us to start the modelling. n so we started…

as it was my 1st time doing the clay modelling, so i had tons of questions on how to do this n how to do dat, hopefully it doesnt irritate baby~ (she didnt show it on her face, so i dunno, haha…) anyway, after struggling for the first few mins, i begin to slowly pick up the skills. slowly moulding the head, the body, the hair, the hand and finally the 'er hu’. erm, it wasnt supposed to be an ‘er hu’, but then cos of the design that i came up with, i replaced the star with an ‘er hu’, lol…

hmmm, after 2hrs, we presented our own model on the table. baby kept saying that her’s looks like a menos grande from bleach, which somehow somewhere looks like one, and kept complaining to me that it looks ugly and wants to throw away. i told her that from the bottom of my heart, it is still very nice. it was the hardwork we have gone through that 2hrs, so must treasure the time and the effort to make it. so i asked her to keep it as it was also our 1st time doing ma. so we can always make it better the next time. okok, below are our models done up, do not comment that they look ugly ar…

 

My 27th Birthday!

today is my birthday, as shown in the title above, i am 27 yrs old, yah… 1 year older already. :P also going to be a father soon after my birthday is over. :D my little cow is going to be dued by 30th of Jan. one of my birthday wish is to have my little cow to come out during my birthday, hmmm, but then i guess should be within the nx coming week. :) oh ya, less on my wishes, today went out with baby to raffles city for some short shopping.

yeah, but then, we went there to get our items, not my bday gift. :P okok, actually i already gotten my bday gift back during christmas, dats y tis year during my actual day, i didnt receive any gift from baby, hehe… we went down to raffles city (prints, paper market and A ‘N’ BC) to get some scrap book stuff. all these scrap book stuff are to deco our very own personal photo album and of course, xiao niu’s one. :D

ok, above are the items that we bought at raffles city~ after which we went down to have lunch at canele. the food there was quite good, especially the corn and crab chowder. the berry black tea hor, erm… maybe is becos i ate the dessert, dats y the taste a bit too flowery… oh, the desserts were tiramisu and black forest. i asked baby to order 1 onli, instead she ordered 2… :x the desserts were nice, but then tiramisu when i first tried, the alcohol was quite strong, lol… i hv a strong sense for alcohol since i dun drink… the main dishes were caesar salad and finally the too sweet big breakfast… dun be mistaken, they dun sell mac’s big breakfast, it is a pizza~~~ but then a bit too sweet loh…

Baby’s Shopping Spree~

today baby on leave, n so baby started her very happy shopping spree! lol… she was so happy that today, she bought a lot of those things that she wanted. i see her happy, i also very happy. juz only from yesterday she was warded, today she gotten well already. good good, thats wad i wanted to see from her. n hope she will stay as happy as always. for more info on her shopping spree, do look at her blog! :D

Gamer

hmmm, this movie at first i tot it was quite good, cos it shows a person controlling another real life person. n while they are in the game, a lot of other real life persons are being controlled too. this is a virtual real life gaming. however, the storyline a bit vague and when they are showing the fighting scene, its a bit blur. cannot really see wad they are fighting. effects also not dat good. so therefore i give this movie a 2.5/5 rating.

Almost Had a Shock~

erm, today while i was having my lunch, i suddenly receive 1 sms from baby saying that she is going to hospital. i was like, erm… ok, wad happened? so after asking her, i got to know that she was actually having diarrhea, then after which she felt giddy and almost fainted. luckily at that time, there was this cleaning auntie at the toilet and as well as another lady. otherwise, baby would have fallen to the ground. thanks to the cleaning auntie and the lady.

so i quickly finish off my lunch and then rush down to thomson medical center. (baby was brought to the hospital by her boss and 2 colleagues) i would like to thank the 3 of them also to act rationally and am grateful for helping my wife to the hospital. so by the time i reached there, it was already 145pm.

when i reach there, i called and then baby’s colleague, eunice, answered my call. so i went to find them at the family lounge. after thanking them, i proceeded to look for baby together. when we were at the counter, something funny happened. we were standing at the counter, waiting for person to tell us where baby is, then the one at the counter asked one of the nurse to attend to me. then the nurse also very cute, she tot the counter ask her to send me out, lol… then the counter say to bring me to baby, lol…

ok anyway, after knowing where baby is, i bid farewell to baby’s 2 colleagues. hmmm, after seeing baby, she explained to me that, the nurse was telling her that she is experiencing contraction. but then baby says she is not having any feeling of contraction. so the nurse also very puzzled, lol… anyway, at the end of the day, baby is ok already. she could be ‘released’ from the hospital. so we went bck to hv dinner at baby’s place.

luckily baby is alrite, otherwise everyone will be worried to death, especially me. god bless baby. :) muackz!

End of 2nd Reservist

today marked the end of my 2nd high key reservist. it was very fun going through the reservist this time round because of atec stage 1. all the training were very fun and i really appretiate the scheduling of the logistics. everything fell very gd in place and almost did not have any problems at all. only somehow a few here and there got hiccups, otherwise its really good.

oh ya, just to mention that, our battalion, broke the armor and atec record by scoring 97.3%. it was the highest ever recorded score in armor and for atec results. we proved them even better by doing very well in a lot of stations, especially breaching. it was told to us that there is only 1 battalion that achieved silent breaching, and it happened for only 1 section. this time round, all 3 sections selected performed silent breaching. of course not to mention, our section did the best for this test. it was due to our 3 frontier personnel, my sc (sgt sim), teck haw and raymond. they were very professional in going forward to break through the constetina wire. i salute 3 of them, they were the key to this victory. :P

we also received our reward of a best in breaching certificate, together with 1 off pass, 1 ntuc voucher and 1 membership card to our oc’s coffeehouse. lol… that’s all i have to record. hope the next ict will be even more fun!

2nd Reservist~

tml will be going back for reservist for 2 weeks~ this time will be a high key once again. but as compared to last time, tis time will be more important. it will be a test of our knowledge on our weapons as well as our drills. this will determine how well we know on our own weapons and vehicles. i hope all is well for our test this reservist in camp. :)

i wont be around for 2 weeks (wkdays only hopefully), so baby has to take care of herself during the wkdays. xiao niu muz also help to take care of mummy arh. so baby, anything u can always contact me at my hp and i will update u everyday on the happenings in camp and contact u every nite. take care for the next 2 weeks wor! it will be over the moment u know about it. :) muackz muackz!

Happy New Year 2010!

yes, a new year has come and the year 2009 is over! although it has been a long and draggy year, but then i achieved a lot during that year! lets see wad are the achievements that i have made in 2009!

1.	went to thailand with baby, ug and jing jing on 20th March 2009!
2.	proposed to baby on 23th March 2009! ug also did the same thing! this was done at baiyoke sky hotel!
3.	registered my marriage with baby on 10th May 2009 officially at rendezvous hotel!
4.	celebrated mother’s day and father’s day together during our rom on 10th May 2009 at rendezvous hotel! it was part of the event during our rom!
5.	completed our final rom photo shooting at singapore flyer, suntec city and old supreme court on 10th May 2009!
6.	found out 1mth later from our rom date that baby is preggy! we were so excited!
7.	completed our wedding photo shoot on 12th June 2009 on 3 different places, new image studio (4 different styles), hort park (rom clothings) and east coast park (rom clothings)!
8.	our 1yr anniversary on 23rd June 2009!
9.	held multiple brothers and sisters meeting to discuss on our actual day on 15th November 2009!
10.	gotten married on 15th November 2009 at my house n baby’s house! lunch buffet for baby’s relatives, lunch buffet for my relatives and dinner buffet for friends!
11.	spent christmas with baby on 24th Dec 2009 at kenny rogers and having a log cake at nite!
12.	went for ug n jing jing’s rom at sentosa amara sanctuary on 25th Dec 2009!
13.	Signed up for Great Eastern’s SupremeHealth, TotalShield and TotalShield Plus on 26th Dec 2009!
14.	Completed the last of the lego sets on 26th Dec 2009! Lego sets collected are Lego Ferrari, Lego Ship, Lego Ferris Wheel, Lego Eiffel Tower, Lego Taj Mahal, Lego Green Grocer, Lego Grand Carousel, Lego House Creator, Lego Cafe Corner and Lego Market Street!
