Happening Day!

wad a happening day today. early morning wake up juz to go breakfast and go work, then so many things happened.

firstly, early morning go down wan drive car, tyre puncture… sibei sad… this one still nt the worse. my dad was currently having his breakfast when i called him and he came down to help, haha… sad for him, wan eat breakfast, car type puncture, lol… then still nvm, after helping to change type, the spare tyre also no air! sibei jialat, dun even know y no air, dunno izzit becos also punctured, but it doesnt look like, cos there nth sticking into the tyre leh… then sent to car servicing for repair on the actual tyre and changing it back.

then after dat went for breakfast dat time, saw 1 dead bird on the road, wah sad… early morning see dead animals… then after breakfast, diahorrea… after diahorrea, office called to confirm some logic, lol… really is happening.

later 2nite hv to go confirm the packaging for the wedding favors. then a lot of things settled le. yes, finally everything going to fix into a huge puzzle. i wish my wedding would go very well!!!

BBQ Gathering

today is a bright moony nite. a bbq was organized to gather some of the brothers and sisters to discuss on our wedding. we gathered ug, jj, cm, dl and cy for the bbq. of course not forgetting our parents n my bro who came down to have a share of the food. :P

frm 430pm onwards, we started the fire, everything went well during the bbq. until my parents came to tell us they will join us after their swim, then we realised there not enugh food, lol… so me, ug n jj went to ten mile junction to get more food. halfway there, charcoal also not enugh, haha… so they had no food to eat since the fire could not start. so they had to wait for us to come back. lol…

halfway thru out the bbq, baby, cm n dl went to the function room to discuss about how to deco and plan out the whole event for the big day. but we still continued to hav our bbq. at ard 9pm, everyone was very full le, n we bought quite a lot of excess food. so we started packing until 940pm before we made a move.

it has been such a long time ever since i had my bbq. thanks all for joining our bbq session, but sorry dat i didnt had my car to send all of u back. but still very appreciate all of u to come over for the bbq. thanks!

Final Destination 4

ok, this movie is one of my favorites, queuing up in front are “saw series” and the other i forgot what liao, haha… but as compared to other earlier series, this one still falls short. looks very graphical. previous series looks more real and much more unpredictable. but still a gd catch for this year. rating to be 3.5/5.

G-Force (3D)

hmmm, personally i think this movie is quite interesting. only thing that i think is not worth it is the 3D effects. cos i dun see anything that is as gd as ice age 3. at the very least, ice age 3 (3D) is so much better in the effects. overall i would give a 3/5 rating. good to watch, but not for 3D.

Such a Long Long Time…

it has been such a long long time since i have spent the night over at my company. as the project is coming to the end of 1yr, our job scope are getting bigger and bigger. initially, i was tasked to do sharepoint during POC back in june 2008. that was when everyone was very united, staying back in the company almost everyday just to come up wif a small system to present to the users.

then after this, i was tasked to do infopath. had to learn infopath from scratch, learn xpath, how to do coding outside infopath forms, etc etc. at that point of time, only me, ug, starlight were so called the developers for the ‘system’. with me handling infopath, starlight handling sharepoint and ug handling biztalk. we were the 3 musketeers…

after 3 mths later, more ppl joined this project. be it from other teams, newly recruited, contracted basis or from ODC. from a mere 10+ ppl doing the project, it grew to 60+. isnt it huge? also at that time, we had only 3 managers managing this project. now, we have at least 10… this is the 1st project i have seen so many managers managing. okok, lets get back to this ‘era’.

so from then till now, the prototype version has been going thru 10 releases already. we have 7 more releases to go before the actual project gets commissioned. now we are already panting to do testing for version 10… i wonder the next few releases, will it be worse?… more scopes, more tests, which also means more overnight oils… oh dear… when will this end?…
