Lego Taj Mahal

yes, finally our long awaited taj mahal is completed. and it took us both (me n baby) to finish it in 9hrs... what a feat.. lol... in actual fact if 1 person do, i dunno take how long sia... cos so many x2 x4 sets... sibei painful, especially when i was doing book 2, i was like erm... sibei shiok man... 4 packs of 'light pieces' of 100 pieces each + 1 pack of 'opaque light pieces' of 100 pieces... piecing all these together in column of 6 rows... crazy, totally crazy... done this book 2 itself too me 7hrs... my thumbs even went sore and blue black lor (nt really dat serious la, but still pain for 2 days after dat) well, it was an achievement to finish this taj mahal, and it looks exceptionally great when i see from far, woooo!!! below are some of the pictures taken during the process as both of us were so excited about it, heh... really did our best for this, chiong ar! next set coming should be roughly in june or july. :D dunno wad to buy yet, will be keeping a look out for it. ;)

Valkyrie

this movie is quite interesting. valkryie is actually an operation given by hitler on the activation of his reserve army if there is any uprising or law-breakers during any bombings in berlin. it is actually a preventive measure to protect germany even though the area is under bombings. actually this valkyrie operation is being made use of to assassinate and take over berlin by some of the german compatriots who wants to overthrow hitler. i give this story a 4/5 rating as it is a very gd history written on germany during world war 2.

Dad and Mom Birthday

today we went to celebrate dad and mom's bday together at upper thomson road, the seafood. today we ordered mixed veg, plain prawns, butter chicken wings and chilli crab. the mixed veg was a lot despite $10, quite nice the food, delicious enugh until i keep eating. :D the plain prawns oso very fresh, the meat very erm... 'strong', lol... butter chicken wings oso very nice, cannot make it... i really like the food here wahahahaha..... the best was the crab. i really hav nth to say. in my whole life of 26 yrs, i have never seen a crab like tis... the clam super the big... even the australian crab oso cannot win... really is big lor, i see liao i stunned... i will recommend all of u to go there eat man. really... i dun exaggerate, it is really gd. gogogo!

CNN's Farewell

today is cnn's last 2nd day in my company. juz to say a few words about him, in actual fact, he is quite a gd boss. i know that he does his job and he always wants to make sure everything is finished on time. i can see his determination to get things done and will oso help to push the client into postponing the deadlines. most importantly, he tries to take care of the employees under him, he cant help technically, but he will support us morally and foodily, lol...

ok take away all the other non-related items, lets go to the lunch. yes, we were having the lunch at earl's swensen in vivo city. all of us were anticipating this last and final event for cnn. me, baby, ug, candle and rj went there first. when we reached there, quite a few ppl there le. then we settled dwn, most likely gt ard 10ppl. then the interesting part came. after a while, 1 whole lot of sans came in... i count count, shld be ard 15 of them... then i was tinking n laughing at the same time, lol... i told ug dat is it becos they tot its free, dats y they all came, wahahaha... then harelax went to tell them dat they need to pay, n harelex came back tell us they really tot its free, lol... damn funny...

ok anyway, soon after most of the ppl came in to have the farewell lunch. then here comes the prize giving ceremony. act we were supposed to give out later in the afternoon when the bday celebration is going to happen. but then some miscommunication resulted in gentle cloud giving the present away during the lunch. starlite bought a pen and a watch totalling up to $150. wow... wad 2 items they are.. lol... i wish cnn best of luck in his new company and hopefully we can keep in touch as much as we can. i can only say the company lost a gd boss.

Transporter 3

hmmm, quite an interesting movie i can say. some of the action is quite spectacular, especially when the chasing scenes come. that is exactly what a transporter should encounter i guess. but then a bit too much talking and other out of the point scenes. personally i would give the rating to 3.5/5 based on the action scenes. the storyline abit too brief and too out of the point.

The Wedding Game

ohaiyo, if u r a singaporean, one look at this title n u will know that tis movie is acted by fann wong and christopher lee. it is a romance and comedy show. nt really romantic la hor, but it does have some meaning to it even though it is a wedding game that is designed to trick all the people in the movie. it was explaining that we shouldnt treat wedding as a game, we should treat wedding as a sacred process that we have to go through. it should be a very important chapter of our lives. basically i have yet to go through this chapter of my life la, when i have gone through, i will then update my blog with it. :) anyway, the comedy rating of this show is quite good, i can say. cos i will always remember the scene where christopher lee is running towards the bus, chasing the bus b4 it goes off. i didnt expect fann wong to appear behind him chasing after him. the scene was really funny, i laughed till my guts came out, lol... ok, rating for this movie is... 4/5!
