video footage taken for this movie. quite interesting and it seems like some demonic or ghostly encounter with the other beings. looks real although it actually is a movie itself. the ending was quite sad as both the couple died. i would give this movie a 3/5 rating. watch it urself as i will nt reveal too much about this movie. :)

CrimsonLogic CNY 2010
the company held their annual chinese new year celebration by having ‘lou hei’ (捞鱼生) in the company. also together is buffet after that. as usual, same as previous years, our lou hei is outside the seminar room, with lots of tables of 鱼生. then me, ug, lih fen and chun jie went to the table where chee leong, stanley they all were. n goes the lou hei after everyone settled down. after which we proceeded to hv the buffet. i dun really remember which caterer provided the buffet, but it was quite gd. then finally we went for the lucky draw. too bad i didnt manage to get the $88, haha… only gotten a chocolate. :\ below are some photos taken, not many, during the celebration.

苏乞儿 (True Legend)
watched this movie last nite with song and chengfeng. initially the starting was quite good, telling us how the 3 ‘brothers’ actually were together and then later split up. however the storyline was a bit jumpy, moving into the future too quickly and leaving out a lot of necessary details. the funny and most interesting part was jay zhou and the slping buddha. cos of the way they appear when zhao wen zhuo was in the woods. and also when jay zhou appeared in the inn at shanghai to show zhao wen zhuo the drunken fist stance. the storyline seems almost the same as huo yuan jia, with the ending scene winning the foreigners. rating i would give 3/5.
Xiao Niu Full Month “Gift Away”
today very special, marks the ‘full month’ of xiao niu. (actually supposed to be on 28th Feb, but given out early cos i will be leaving the company on 24th Feb). so i have prepared food and some small gift for my fellow colleagues. this one to the right are the full month vouchers that i have given to some of the people on the list. They contain vouchers to walnut cakes from bengawan solo. (a trend of companies to give away cake vouchers, so we follow suite, haha…) next below
is the straw shoes that we found and bought in thailand. one look into the bag and u know its a lot, n i really mean a lot. there are more than 60 pairs of shoes in there. the story actually quite cute. we were in thailand looking for these type of souvenirs and we came across this shop at chatuchak market. then see these shoes very cute, so began to hand pick all of them. when we found out that there were only about 50+ pairs in total, we asked whether there were more, they tried finding, but could only manage to get about maybe 20 more pairs more. in the end we bought bck about 60 – 70 pairs of shoes. the shop saleslady also see us very weird, dunno why we bought everything, haha… these were then repacked into pairs and given out to all the people from iels team. small token from me and my wife. :) the last item that was
bought and shared among some of the selected few, hehe… not enugh to go around giving to everyone, sorry ar guys. too expensive to give so many things to so many people. :P i like the fruit tarts, it is quite tasty. i tried the pineapple, kiwi, grapes and longan. didnt manage to get the peach and the strawberry ones. (u all also very bad leh, never leave for me… :P) hope all those who received the gifts respectively will like them. :) thanks all those who attended the ‘very important meeting’ today. hehe…

刺陵 (Treasure Hunter)
the story started with a bang of jay chou fighting scene. but then after that, the story became vague. storyline tends to jump here and there. cant even differentiate properly whether they are actually in real life or in fantasy. sometimes showing city, sometimes showing desert. the storyline is very messy. fighting scenes were quite gd, average for graphics. overall rating could only give 2.5/5. Not very appetizing.

风云II
now i know why this movie so low rating, cos of the storyline and the buildup of the characters. very poor in the storyline and some of the chars really is come out for show only. totally no ending to what the characters have done or become of. graphics are great, but then the cliffs and mountains look very fake. not enugh cleaning up of the graphics. so sad for such a big movie. rating 2.5/5.
